Due to a larger-than-expected influx of vaccine doses from New York State, the Allegany County Department of Health is temporarily opening registration for vaccinations appointments to eligible residents in seven neighboring counties at its mass vaccination site in Wellsville from Thursday through Sunday.
The vaccine allocation has allowed the Department of Health to meet all existing appointments booked through the department’s website for residents in Allegany County at that site over the next four days. Residents from Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Wyoming, Livingston, Steuben, Erie, and Niagara counties may register for one of the excess capacity appointments.
To book an appointment with the Allegany County Department of Health, visit the county’s website:
A link on that page will redirect visitors specifically to the Wellsville clinic sign-up page on the New York State Department of Health registration portal where appointments are available.
Residents without Internet access may call the Allegany County Department of Health at (585) 268-9250 to book an appointment.
The Allegany County mass vaccination site is in the former Kmart store in the Wellsville Riverwalk Plaza, 121 Bolivar Road Wellsville, NY 14895.
